About GALA: Your River City Mixed Chorus is a proud long-term member of GALA Choruses, a 501 (c)(3), not-for-profit organization serving the GLBT choral movement. Every 4 years, GALA Choruses hosts a GALA Festival, an ingathering of GLBTA choral groups from around the world. The RCMC will be traveling to Denver in July 2012 to participate and perform in this fabulous, fun-filled Festival. The RCMC rehearses every Monday evening from 6:45 PM to 9:15 PM from August to mid-June. Rehearsals are held at First United Methodist Church, in Clark Hall, 69th & Cass Streets.
